Look at the yard before the plan
Cypress lots are close to level, so we start by finding where water goes today: toward the side-yard swale, the street, or nowhere. The new patio is laid out around that answer.
Most Cypress backyards came with a covered patio barely big enough for a grill. We extend it into a space you actually use, tied into the old slab and sloped so the next downpour runs off instead of sitting by the back door.
Drag the handle to reveal the finished pour.

Credibility comes from how it's built, not from promises. Here's the order of operations on every concrete patios job.
Cypress lots are close to level, so we start by finding where water goes today: toward the side-yard swale, the street, or nowhere. The new patio is laid out around that answer.
On an extension we drill and set steel dowels into the edge of the existing patio so the old and new pours move together, then hold the new surface at a matching height so there is no lip to trip on.
The finished surface sits below the brick ledge and weep holes on the house wall. Pour flatwork up to that line and rain can get behind the brick, which is a problem nobody sees until it is expensive.
Some yards here are dense clay that swells after a wet week, others are sandy loam that drains fast. We dig, check, and compact a base that suits what is actually under your grass.
From late spring into fall we schedule pours for the cooler morning hours and keep the surface from drying too fast in the afternoon sun, then seal it once it has cured.
Most contractors vanish after the deposit. We pick up the phone, show up when we say, and stand behind the work after the truck leaves. The follow-through is the difference.
A foreman we know runs your job and a vetted crew does the work, managed by Lucky's, one company accountable from the first call to the final walkthrough.
COI and lien waivers on file before we break ground. The documentation that lets commercial clients pay and gives homeowners peace of mind.
Prepped subgrade, reinforced and mixed to spec for the job, and proper curing. We build credibility through the process, not promises. On concrete patios, that starts with look at the yard before the plan.

We do not quote patios by phone, because the price here moves with things we have to see: how many square feet you are adding, whether we are tying into an existing builder slab, how much digging and base work the soil needs, how far the water has to be moved, and the finish you pick. After a site visit you get a written number we will stand behind.
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we see in newer Cypress neighborhoods. We drill steel dowels into the edge of the existing slab, pour the extension to the same height, and cut a joint where the two meet so any movement happens on a straight line you can live with.
In most master-planned communities around Cypress, including Bridgeland, Towne Lake and Fairfield, exterior changes like a patio usually need an approved modification request before work starts. We give you a drawing with dimensions, materials and drainage notes so your application is complete the first time.
That is the right question here, because flat ground does not drain itself. We build a gentle fall into the slab and the soil around it, steering water to a side-yard swale, an existing drain or the street. If the lot needs more than grading, we tell you that up front.
Brick homes have a ledge and small weep holes near the base of the wall that let moisture out. A patio poured up over that line can send rain back into the wall. We keep the finished surface below it, even when that takes a little more digging.
Broom finish grips well when the slab is wet and stays cooler looking in the sun. Smooth suits covered areas. Stamped gives a stone or tile look but needs resealing, sooner on a slab that bakes in the afternoon sun. We will walk you through how each one fits the way you use the space.
